Events Watermelon Festival - Sunday, August 5, 2012 The Carytown Watermelon Festival on August 5, from 10-6, promises a plethora of the juicy fruit, fun, shopping, and music. The Christian Science Reading Room at 3431 West Cary St. will once again be in the middle of the street in front of our shop, and we have a surprise this year. Alex Cook (www.alexcookmusic.com) will be performing his original Christian music under the tent around 11:30 a.m. Please stop by to enjoy this musical refreshment for the soul!
